Telemedicine
Imagine being able to speak with your doctor without leaving home. With the rise in technology, this is now a reality! Dr. Romero is using all forms of media - phone calls and video chats and emails or text messages- to provide healthcare services for patients who may be far away from her physically but still need to have medical access.
All the telemedicine visits are included in the Family and Small Business Memberships.
She provides one-time Non-Member evaluations for $250.
The visit includes a follow-up visit if needed.
Dr. Romero is licensed in Florida and Ohio.

Metabolic Weight Management
Obesity is an epidemic. Today 2/3 of adults are obese; the condition is currently considered to be at epidemic levels in the United States and many other countries around the world. Obesity is a complex disease involving an excessive amount of body fat which increases the risk of developing heart disease, cancer, diabetes, chronic pain, among others.

Losing weight is not an easy task. It is not calories in and calories out. When looking for a weight loss program we have to take into account underlying medical issues such as PCOS, hormonal imbalances, and insulin resistance.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Hormones regulate most of the human body's complex systems. These hormones allow the body to respond to stressors and perform vital tasks adequately. Hormones are chemicals that regulate our body system throughout our lifetime. They cause physical, emotional, and psychological problems when they're out of balance.
​
Stress, unhealthy diet choices, sedentary lifestyle, and chronic diseases exacerbate hormonal issues. These disruptions in hormonal balance can lead to insomnia, anxiety, depression, digestive problems, weight gain, and more. The word bioidentical refers to chemically identical hormones to those produced by your own body. Dr. Romero evaluates your hormones by using blood and saliva tests. Then, if needed, she prescribes custom-compounded bioidentical hormones and/or other types of FDA-approved bioidentical hormones - such as transdermal patches - to treat common hormonal problems like menopausal symptoms and premenstrual syndrome.
